This is kind of an unglamorous photo of our show getting loaded in. For the first time since the band took on live drums, the drums are no longer center stage, but now there are TWO drum kits! Yes, the stage is flanked by Marty “King of the Drums” Beller’s two kits. His second kit is actually electronic, and resides fully stage left, along side Dan Miller’s keyboard and in front of the marching band bass drum and video camera for the Avatars of They. And for the first time on the entire twenty five years of the band, Flansburgh’s stage position is to the left of Linnell.
